Yep, and that's all I'm saying too.
It would be quite a coincidence.
I hear ya. But I wanted to throw in the Parcell's stuff. LT doing a mountain of coke was one thing, but if you fumbled he'd kill you

no, but it is a small sample size.
did you know brady played better in the second half of the indy game with "legal" balls vs the first half with his own?

I'm still not convinced. Brady is the offense and the RB an after thought. By that point the Pats probably just drafted or obtained guys that weren't fumble prone. If the numbers go up I'll re evaluate
Well Brady hasn't been benched since coming into the league and in his first 6 years starting his fumbles were in the double digits 4 of the 6 years. Starting in 2007 he has played in 7 seasons with only one of those being double digit in fumbles. Don't just have to look at the RB's to see that there was a major change in the number of fumbles.
They can make the argument the treatments to the ball to make it better to throw, other than the air pressure, helped him do that. Thy were explaining Eli's ball treatment and it's literally a 4 day process to get the balls to the grip he likes.
Just playing devils advocate here, next year should tell us
According to the criteria used on YourTeamCheats.com if your team has had 4 players test positive for a banned substances over the course of the last 20 years that is just as bad as Spygate. Additionally, 3 players testing positive is just as bad as deflating footballs. The players in question don't even have to be players who made the 53 man roster. If your team signed somebody to the preseason roster for 7 days and they tested positive they're counting it.
Yeah, this is definitely not biased or being used as another sad deflection.
The issue there then is that Manning's fumble stats actually increased when that happened in 2007. He actually had his worst 2 fumbling years in 2 of the next 3 years after that happened. Peyton is in that same boat in he saw his worst fumbling year after 2007.
Did Payton have O Line issues that year?
it is technically cheating.well right off the bat cheapsgate is not cheating, its illegal hits.......thats kinda stretching things.......

TEAM: The Baltimore Ravens
SEVERITY:![]()
SUMMARY: David Epstein and George Dohrmann reported that Sports with Alternatives to Steroids (S.W.A.T.S.) owner Mitch Ross recorded a phone conversation with Baltimore Ravens Linebacker Ray Lewis after the linebacker's injury in October.
"Hours after he tore his triceps during an Oct. 14 home game against the Cowboys, Ravens All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis and Ross connected on the phone. Again, Ross videotaped the call."
On the call, the two allegedly discuss the treatment that Lewis would undergo in order to return to the field as quickly as possible. Toward the end of the talk, Lewis asked Ross to "just pile me up and just send me everything you got, because I got to get back on this this week."
The deer-antler spray contains IGF-1, which is on the NFL's list of banned substances.
VICTIM: The entire league
PUNISHED? No but ... it's more probable than not that this was cheating
PUNISHMENT: It is more probable than not that Ray Lewis was at least generally aware that he was completely cheating by ordering and taking a banned substance to illegally enhance his performance.
