Does Penn State's Olumuyiwa Fashanu go in the Top 5?

Here's another gem for you guys: Olumuyiwa "Olu" Fashanu. CBS Sports has him as the 3rd best player in the draft and the top offensive line. ESPN ranks him as the 4th best player and the best offensive linemen in the draft. Olu and Alt are ranked next to each other.

Basic Information
- 21 years old. Will be 22 in December of 2024
- 6'6, 317 pounds
- Played for Penn State between 2020 and 2023.
- Made the 2023 All-American and First-Team All-Big Ten in 2023.

Which team do you think will most likely be aiming for him?

Tennessees LT spot has been worse than any team in the NFL IIRC. Skoronski is playing LG. If the plan is to keep him there then thats probably Fashanu's floor. I think the Titans are almost certainly picking one of the top 3 tackles. They are currently picking #7. Chargers 6, Jets 8.

I think there is a chance he slips out of the top 10 just due to potentially high demand of WR and QBs and teams trading up and back.

I'd be mildly surprised if any OL, not just Fashanu gets taken in the top 5. There's the annual mad rush to get that frachise QB, plus it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Harrison Jr will occupy one of those slots. Maybe he sneaks in at #5, but I doubt it.

The tackles always go high. If he's the best one he won't fall past ten.

If he is the best one he might sneak into the top 5, too, because the order isnt fully set. Chargers are probably playing the Chiefs backups but they could lose. Titans are playing a Jags team so they certainly could lose.

I think the Titans and Jets should be near locks for OT. Could be Fashanu or Alt as the first OT off the board though, depending on personal preference.

Not all 5 will go QB, so it depends on teams trading out or not. I see 2 in the top 10.

That makes sense. I'm not completely ruling out Fashanu or Joe Alt sneaking in the top 5, but if I had to throw a guess out there, it will be either 3 QBs and 2 WRs or 4 QBs and 1 WR taken in the first five. Obviously there's a lot of offseason and free agency before the draft even commences, so the landscape could very well change.

Pats also are in sore need for beefing up O-line. Surely they will draft one high. They will probably trade down a little to get more picks, possible 2 firsts? Then draft QB and WR after that? Looks like mostly O draft for the Pats next year, and frankly have not done so well in that. Defense seems to be solid with some guys coming back next season.
