You are on crack if you think Taylor's stats "blow Denard's out of the water".

Denard has 1230 total yards with 8 TDs, 1 INT, and a completion % of 69.7.

Martinez has 841 total yards with 9 TDs, 1 INT, and a completion % of 65.1.

Both teams are 3-0 but since Michigan has played 2 BCS teams they have had the tougher of the 2 schedules.

Heisman hype this early in the season are like the polls, I hate it. Taylor is in the mix but Denard is the clear cut favorite right now.

Denard has 150 touches (pass atempts and rushing carries) and Taylor has 83. Taylor and Roy Helu are 2 of only 3 players averaging over 10 yards per carry this year.

I understand where you are going with this, but people are only going to look at the stats and who they did it against. I am not saying that Denard is far better than Taylor in my personal opinion, but that is what the rest of the country is going to look at.

Yea, I just think it's funny that they throw him in the mix this quickly.........in fact it embarrasses me.

Now he'll have a game here soon where he won't run for 100 yards (probably at kstate) and everyone's gonna be like "where's the T-Magician with his tricks?"
