1-3. Season is completely lost. If you are Arkansas do you get rid of him now and hope to end the season on a high note? Of course you're not going to hire a new HC mid-season so maybe it does nothing for you to get rid of him now or at the end of the year, but I would think Arkansas is going to do whatever is best for next year and also what is best for recruiting.

If he does, I hope it's because Arkansas is waiting for the right coach to hire after the season.

I've heard Strong's name dropped before.

I don't think Strong would leave Louisville mid-season, so I think Arky will wait until the season is over and hire him. Unless of course they decide to go with someone else.

I'm sure they are very tempted to tell his happy ass to fuck off.

:pray2: Charlie Strong, Art Briles, Gary Patterson. Don't contact Tubs. :amen:

Tubberville will come back to the SEC, mostly because his play style doesn't fit Texas Tech. He likes strong defensive personnel and it is hard for TT to recruit those players in that region. TT would probably have more success with a different coach as well.

Seriously though, Tech can get defensive players, it is just a matter of changing the mindset of recruits that Tech is offense only. I think Tubs will be able to change that should he stays. I didn't pay attention during the Dykes(pre-Leach) years, but to my understanding they were defensive and running oriented. The only reason no one thinks we can field a defense is because Leach didn't give a shit about recruiting and especially defense. I am afraid Tubs will leave to the SEC at some point, but am hopeful this will be his last stop. The recruiting grounds are nice in Texas.
