Good bounce back win!
Andre "Tradebait" Ethier - if he heats up, that would be huge!Either with another great game, offensively!
Good Win, it'd be great to counter being swept with a sweep.
Let's hope McCarthy's injury doesn't keep him out for an extended period of time.

Great counter after a shitbag sweep.
As for McCarthy... This was a major possibility when they signed him.

You're right, a pitcher with a history of injury issues comes down with an arm issue. This injury was out of the realm of possibility.I mean McCarthy coming down with an elbow injury wasn't really a major possibility.
I disagree with Orel. Someone needs to go if we can move them. I'd love to see Crawford go instead but he's probably better in left than Ethier.Van Slyke has been solid so far this year and Crawford has been solid ever since he put on a Dodgers uniform but The Dodgers will lose a bit of defensive depth in the outfield if they trade him though, which is why I think Orel said that Ethier was too valuable to trade during the game last night. That's something to consider, I think unless a team is willing to knock our socks off, we'll probably hang on to him. It's not like the Dodgers can't afford his contract lol.
Definitely, I was not happy with the 4 year deal he got and it's looking even worse... for now at least. If he is hurt, it's not going to be too fun having the rotation down 2 starters as well as Kenley out. At least Bolsinger looked decent against the Giants.

In all seriousness, back issues, leg issues, shoulder issues etc - it's all connected. You compensate for one, you put more stress somewhere else. It was a headscratcher signing, but everyone knows the Dodgers could self insure so the risk was mitigated.
