Please, the ACC doesn't play better defense. They are probably about even. When you give up 60 + pts you don't have a good defense. Not to mention, 3 teams averaged more than 40 + pts a game in conference play, which is 1 more than what the Big 12 had. the only team playing defense in the ACC is Clemson and they just had Pitt drop 42 on them and VT dropped 35. Foreman would run wild all over the ACC. Wasn't UNC like the 2nd best defense in the ACC last year and had only given up 40 + pts twice and one of those teams was Baylor; actually Baylor scored the most points on UNC's defense all year and made it look easy.

Also, when you have some of the worst scoring offenses in the country residing in your conference, it will inflate your defensive stats: #90 (Syracuse), #112 (Duke), #115 (UVA), #122 (Wake) and #123 (B.C.). Not to mention the #1 scoring offense in the country resides in the ACC (L'ville). STFD with that bullshit......

I'm afraid this is 100% correct, That same Pitt team got ran off the field by OSU this year as well. ACC is awful, I support Jimbo and the Noles cause he is family but their conference sucks.

Forgot about that one. Yeah, Okie jr scored the 2nd most points on Pitt all year. Hell, Pitt scored 76 pts on Syracuse and this Nole fan has the ballsack to claim the ACC plays better defense. GMAFB!!!!

No one is saying the ACC is playing good defense either but no conference is as bad as the Big 12 in defense. Awards are nice and all but I rather be taking in the first round than the third and Cook is projected to be the 2nd or 3rd RB taking.
