I have no fucking idea. But I'll bet his team wasn't bowl eligible either. :(
It was Montee Ball, in 2012, he played for Wisconsin, that won the big 10 that year while finishing third in the division. They went 8-6 that year.

When's the last time a player won the Doak Walker without being a Heisman finalist that year?
Shonn Greene won in 08 with no invite. Not sure if there's been any since

Here's the problem with the Heisman.

IT's supposed to go to the best player. Not the best player, on the best team, or a playoff team.......but the BEST PLAYER.

Rushing for 2K yards and winning the Doak Walker should place you in that conversation, easy.

I think Lamar Jackson is the best player......but Foreman should have at LEAST been in NY.

D'onta did it in only 11 games.
He missed that one game. I am guessing he would have racked up 130 yards and a score in that game.
His worst game all year was 124 yards.

That would have put him in the top 5 of all time. 3 of the top 5 rushers needed 14 games to get it.
He would have only trailed Barry Sanders (11) and Marcus Allen (12) in a per game measure

If he hadn't missed that one game, he would have been invited.

In other words, if he hadn't played for Texas????

Just sayin

Seems pretty obvious that the defenses in the ACC are better and the offenses in the big 12 are better

I don't know. It could be said that the defenses in the Big XII suck, and the offenses in the ACC suck. :noidea:

Or maybe the only stats that should matter are the ones that look favorable to Texas? :noidea:

If he had only showed up in those BIG games we wouldn't be having this discussion.
