You only have to wait until next year for that W.V./VT game.

I missed the Heisman show.

Did the OP's dude who's name nobody remembers win?
I think he's a running back from Texas.

I, and most people, wouldn't vote for a player who's on a shitty team. Themes the breaks. I was against ARod getting the MVP while at Texas because that team sucked with him it doesn't matter what they would have done without him.

I agree that most wouldn't vote for a player on a bad team, but I don't think it's right. The Heisman is an individual award, not a team award. It should go to the best player...period, not the best player on a good team.

And to think that I've gotten shit for criticizing that Russell wasn't a Heisman finalist in 2011 when he broke the single-season passer rating record...

OP would probably kill himself if he ever had a running back like Melvin "2,549 yards in 12.5 healthy games" Gordon not win the Heisman. Of course, if Melvin had led Texas to an 11-3 season with his stats he would have rolled to the Heisman so I guess he would have nothing to complain about.

Only thing that bothers me about this: Pumphrey got 1st team AA, Foreman second team.

No way Pumphrey had tougher comp than Foreman. Plus, Foreman's yard came in only 11 games (skipped game two vs UTEP, where he'd probably had 200 yards).

No one is saying the ACC is playing good defense either but no conference is as bad as the Big 12 in defense. Awards are nice and all but I rather be taking in the first round than the third and Cook is projected to be the 2nd or 3rd RB taking.

Are you sure about that? Take a look at some of the scores this year from your conference. You had teams scoring in the 70's and 60's on each other. The ACC plays shit defense, don't overrate your conference.....

I guess that was one AA list. See now, Foreman made consensus first team All-America AP. First running back at Texas to do that since RIcky Williams. (Cedric Benson didnt do it, nor Jamaal Charles). So good for him.
