When's the last time a player won the Doak Walker without being a Heisman finalist that year?

No idea, but playing on a bad team did him no favors.

It's not like he's the best RB in the country.

He already won that award, that's not even debatable at this point.
Actually being the "premier" running back is only 1/3rd of the selection criteria.

In order for any Texas player to be nominated for the Heisman they must beat OU. That is the only criteria. The entire season revolves around beating the land thieves. You should know this dummy.

I thought the Heisman was about the best player, not team in the nation?
I, and most people, wouldn't vote for a player who's on a shitty team. Themes the breaks. I was against ARod getting the MVP while at Texas because that team sucked with him it doesn't matter what they would have done without him.

Wait, didn't L'Ville drop 60 + pts on FSU's weak as fuck defense? Foreman would have had a record day against FSU....In fact, L'ville, Clemson and Pitt are averaging 40+ ppg in the ACC. Shit, Baylor scored at will against UNC last year.....

Sure did b/c we sucked this year. Not sure what that has to do with the ACC sucking at playing defense.
