Unless is ankle is permanently screwed, yes, you pay him. The cost to replace him is just as high and probably won't be as good.

i dont think the ankle is screwed forever , however its an indictment again on the medical staff for not diagnosing it properly in the 1st place

Seriously. What is up with the medical staff. I'm beginning to question the reputation of Andrews. Don't know how a misdiagnosis like this happens.

Well when you draft a OT at #5 overall you would think the answer to the question would be no. But its not. The question you have to ask yourself is are Tw best days behind him?

There is no reason why he should be. He's still young and very talented. Barring injury, there is no reason why he can play 5+ more years at a high level.

First off the deal will never reach $15 mil. The article said that is the goal that Williams is seeking but that hardly means that will end up being the deal. I agree it will be more in the lines of Smith's $12.2. So yeah, even though I was really hoping he would be dominant he is still pretty damn good and of course there is a huge drop off after him they gotta do the deal.

I'm okay with a Tyron Smith-like deal because Trent is better than Tyron. When thinking about this issue, you have to think about whether we could live without him. Let's say he walks. What's our Plan B. Brandon Scherff? If so, we then create another huge hole at RT that we've had for years. And don't tell me that Morgan Moses or Tom Compton are viable replacements.
