I got bored with the lack of posters.... but knew there was a lot of lurkers.... so i trolled the board with a post questioing if the dislike of cody green at #2 was because of the color of his skin.....



it worked, cuz the board has been much busier since....

Disturbing? You should be disturbed by a Human Resource lady, because she's black, can get away with bending the rules at a workplace in Omaha.

I've since found out that she's bent the rules again to give people of her race an advantage over white people.

Inexcusable if she was black or white and slanting the advantage towards their race.

Again, why is it disturbing that I point out something that's utter bullshit?

I went through this thread 3 times and am perplexed?

I see we are talking about Taylor, then Zac and then some black lady at some job who is obviously taking it upon herself to remodel their business with the color black.

Here is the reason Taylor is starting, Cody is 2nd and Zac is 3rd (as of right now!)

Taylor has the athletic abilities to stretch the opposition "D" in numerous ways causing them (opposing teams) great difficulty to prepare for. He has earned the starting position from the coaches’ perspective as well as the players’ perspective because he is so hard to defend against. Our own "D", knows our play calling better then anyone and even when they have a pretty good idea what plays could be called out of a set, Taylor makes them miss. He does not need a track to run on and can improvise without hesitation. He still has much growth (Mental) to go in his career, but the potential here is astonishing!

Green is number two because he has big play ability, an extremely strong arm and has practiced well. He carries a great confidence about him but still needs time to refine his abilities. His inconsistency is the main reason that he is not pushing for the starting job, but has the potential to be much better. He can run, although almost in an unorthodox standing straight up position, and he has a rocket for an arm. He is not nearly as comfortable with our offensive scheme as Taylor and has a little trouble improvising when things break down.


Zac is a utility type (QB), blue collar type player that has the ability to do what is asked of him as long as he has a clear script to follow and not out of his normal character and natural abilities. Yes, he is (WHITE).... OOOoooooOOOOOoooooOOOO, for whatever that is supposed to mean to those who have issues with color, but the truth is, he is a great kid who has done what has been asked of him, but also understands that the (Teams) goal is to win the Big 12 North and further if possible. This player should be saluted for his (Team) over me attitude. He served us well last year to manage what we had to do, to get to where we were.

As for Black vs. White issues, I can not speak to posters positions and their perception, but on the field, Bo and our coaching staff, do not see colors. (They see present abilities and future abilities). Our players could give a shit less about if you are White/Black/Red or whatever. If you are the best at what you do, then you should start. Does racism exist in the State of Nebraska? Sure it does. Is it within our football program? Possibly in some circles of non-playing players, but it's not apparent. (Behind closed doors type thoughts or jokes).

What do I think of Black vs. White?

I remember the first time I was discriminated against..... It was when I looked into the mirror and said to myself, if only I was white, I would have a better chance at life then what I have now!

Hmmmmm.... Poor me syndrome, but then as I was called upon by coaches throughout the country wanting me to play ball for them!

The thing you have to understand and remember is;

"When you put on the teams uniform, you are all the same color!"

I think I addressed most of this in my post above! For those who question Bo's decisions, so be it... (Ramble on), It is what it is and for good reason, even if fans can not understand it!

I believe the question HH relayed was ("Rather then just saying you believe Lee should be ahead of Green in the rotation, give credible data that supports your thoughts?) Keeping in mind the Big Picture (This Season and Future Seasons).

Heck HH, not sure my interpretation of what you were after is on or off target or won’t cause more confusion?…… LOL

I said my piece I guess on this subject… I am going to watch some football while I have the chance…

After the south Dakota St. game a lot of you were saying you never believed that T-magic was the answer at QB. Well after last night do you believe he is our good choice. He actually threw a couple of good balls and of course his running was WOW. Do you guys believe yet because I did after week one.
