Do we really want a win vs the Vikings?

i know a lot of people here like to see the bears win even if it doesn't matter, but a win here could affect our draft selection by three spots. A loss and we could pick 3rd. So far, this draft has 2 clear cut top picks that teams may want to trade up for. It's also looking like it has 1 QB that will go in the top three. This could be the pick to have that offers a lot of flexibility. I find it a lot less likely that anyone will want to trade up to 6 for a player. I understand good FOs get good players late, but this could give Pace a leg up in the upcoming draft to maximize the talent he extracts from it.

So, is everyone on here still wanting the bears to go out and get a win?

I think they know what they have in Howard,not so sure about barkley tho..I think it would be nice to also see them throw barkley in non-huddle situations and amongst the two minute drill most of the game.
We need to know how well he can handle pressure situations........

Well, on the bright side we have a great shot at getting Myles Garrett or Jonathon Allen. Jonathon Allen seems to fit our system better right now and is more likely to be there when we pick. I also think the potential to trade back for extra picks is there much more than had we been picking 5th or 6th. I am very excited to see what Pace can do with this draft position.

That I'm certainly on board with. We could be one more good draft away from finally getting something going. No idea what happens at QB now... Barkley seems to have played himself out of the job next year.
