I don't think anything could make me do that...

probably why they dont have a team anymore.. lol I wont spend money on an NBA game. go for free? yeah most likely the atmosphere is generally good. but never pay. Ive been to 3 games

one in a suite VS Seattle
one in the stands VS The Bulls (without Jordan)
one on the courtside vs Portland I mean I was 2 feet away from Scotty Pippen close.

thats all from a Vancouver Grizzlies season. all were free

a buddy of mine did some marketing for them, so i went to a few for free as well.
the most memorable was row 3 on the floor where i couldn't see shit because Amanda Marshall was sitting in front of me and she had huge fluffy hair.

don't remember any of the teams, because I didn't give a shit. always amused me that the announcer would just go nuts for the most mundane home team basket, and have this subdued mumble for a visiting score.

lol. I had Arthur Griffiths stand right in front of me during one sequence of play and it didnt matter :D

Im not fan of BBALL but I respect the athletes that win championships in any sport and when I saw Pippin I raised 6 fingers for his 6 championships and he just gave me a fist pump over his heart and pointed with a big smile. it was pretty cool.

Fehr and Bettman are a couple of clowns. These two jokers seem determined to destroy the NHL.

worst part about it DAsh is they dont care about the NHL this is Bettman vs Fehr. this is an EGO war. I really despise this and am actually starting to get ill feelings towards the game as a result. I mean really ill.

It's long past time to set a deadline, matty. Like I posted earlier, if there's not an agreement by December 1st, cancel the entire season. Let everybody know (fans included) so that we can all move on.

I remember the days I used to RUSH home to watch a game, or to avoid at all possible any source to ruin a game I taped. I would watch through ass kickings, I would buy Jerseys on a whim even though I have so many. I have an entire wall of hockey in my bar. I have so many things that I spent so much money on and now Im ready to take that wall down put up something else and put away the Jerseys forever. I am so tired of this on so many levels.

killer part is that I now this is not the Canucks or Flames ownership that wants this but they have NO power here. BEttman has put control in so very well and I hate him. I actually HATE him

Hall of Fame officials tell me Gary Bettman is expected to attend & speak at the Induction ceremony, as per usual.

You go Gary, it's not like you have anything else on your plate that requires attention...

I'd put the induction ceremony on hold.

his speech will not be audible. i fully expect everyone in attendance to boo the entire time he's at the podium.

which is an utter shame, the inductees deserve better than that

I'd put the induction ceremony on hold.

If I was a player being inducted I would ask for them the wait until the CBA is done or ask someone else to do the induction instead of Bettman.

I really think that Fehr believes that the owners/Bettman won't cancel a second season and he's holding out for as long as it takes to get the best deal for the players. For all the supposed negotiation that's been reported, it's still a game of chicken between the NHL and NHLPA.

I believe this. I also believe that Bettman and the Owners in Charge dont care about the season nor getting a deal done with them. its their way and only their way no exceptions and they are believing that the fans will return regardless of how long they are out. they believe we will blindly follow them. since they have my ticket money already I will be going to or selling my tickets once they return but I am done with season tickets forever. too much money wasted and now I fell it really has been wasted.

Screw Bettman and the owners. They're something in business known as 'negotiating in good faith'. And when those owners signed contracts with players, it's not in good faith to ask for a rollback next summer. That's the ONLY thing (well, biggest thing) preventing a deal right now. Players have agreed to 50/50, but they want some sort of guarantee on their current deals.

If the NHL rams through this deal without any sort of 'make whole' clause, can players opt out of all those decade-long deals? Pretty fucking slimy to sign a player long term at a discount, only to lock them out if they don't accept a 14% rollback within a year. Really can't understand how anyone backs the owners on this one.
