so the BOG is talking 50plus game schedule as per Pierre Lebrun

and my inlaws family friends just bought a place outside Phoenix

Im thinking my boycott of paying for NHL game tickets does not extend to paying $5 to see the canucks play the coyotes in glendale

if i can pay for the ticket using bottle refund money (my kids drink alot of juice boxes) ... BOYCOTT STILL INTACT!

NHL and NHLPA have made headway and the NHLPA looks to be giving a proposal later today. there is excitement over a 56 game schedule starting Dec 20. why do I get the sense that when the NHLPA offers their proposal they will put something in there that will really tick off the NHL and derail this. oh I am an optimist at heart... but just not with really greedy people

Bettman ~10 minutes after proposal: "Their proposal was completely unacceptable. We've worked tirelessly to compensate their needs and desires and they refuse to budge on any points. I see no reason for us to spend more time in a meeting when their proposal is so far away from what we can agree to. No new meetings have been scheduled, and games through December have been cancelled."
