Same here since very few DC residents reside in the White House, the Washington Monument, or the Lincoln Memorial.

But yeah, size is definitely a factor. There's a reason Toyko, New York, London, and Beijing are not tops on the list.

I have a friend I visit who lives just off of Carson St. I love that area.

There are some great up and coming areas too...Lawerenceville is the 20-somethings capital of town.

The livability ranking examines the living conditions in 140 cities around the world and rates each city across five categories: stability, health care, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure.

No way Vancouver tops the list if affordable housing is a category...Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful city, but the housing prices are insane.

Briere and Bryzgalov buyouts, and possibly a Meszaros trade. I don't want Dupuis' soon to be overpriced cap hit, but I wouldn't put it past Holmgren.

This is just my opinion, but if the Flyers are going to use a compliance buyout on Bryzgalov, don't you think the smart move from that point would be to, you know, find another goalie?

Dupuis is a great role playing kind of guy. He can skate in the top six, and be a big boost on the penalty killing. Don't think he'd be much help between the pipes, though :)

Seriously though, is Dupuis a top 6 forward on most teams? I don't think so. He's a good PK/character guy, but to me he has 3rd line written all over him. Without playing with some of the best players on the planet, he's a 10-goal, 15-20 assist guy. Solid guy, but I think paying $3mil per or more for him (esp. at his age) is a little nuts.

That's a nice ass house, but it's not an estate.

If your kids can play baseball in the backyard and can still knock out a window of a neighboring home... you might not live in an estate.

^^ This is from my new "You Might Not Live In an Estate If..." comedy routine.

Oh without a doubt, the best place for Dupuis is outside of the top six forwards. He is a clear cut choice for a third line winger. I was just saying he can skate in the top six and hold his own.

And I agree, paying him more than 3mil per is crazy. With the contracts these GM's are signing these days, even after they cried poor during the lockout.. nothing would surprise me.

Wow...I mean, the Pittsburgh market is pretty healthy. The bubble never *really* popped here like it did across most of the US. There certainly houses like that around the suburbs, but not closer to town. Sewickley, Upper St. Clair, North Allegheny, Hampton, Mt. Lebonan...those are place with houses going over a million. I'd love to live in Vancouver though...such a beautiful area.

He's the perfect third liner, unless Sid's his center.

I mean, I could manage 2-3 goals and a dozen assists playing with Crosby.

Omg, that would mean wearing a Pens' sweater. I threw up in my mouth a little. ;)

I don't know if he could skate faster than Morrow, but I damn well know he could have scored more points than Sid or Geno in the ECF's :)

I've wondered, could Mario still lace them up and just be a PP, shootout guy? Could he still be an effective player? Obviously he'd have to borrow some of Jagr, Brodeur or Teemu's HGH.

Iggy is still one of my favo(u)rite players, but I thought the Canadian media was pretty harsh in their criticism of his play while treating Crosby with kid gloves. Hey, even Iggy admitted he didn't play well after game 4, but some of the piling on was over the top in my opinion.

I'd still take him back...Iggy was so incredibly misused it makes me sick.
