Just got a message from another owner saying I'm strong at RB, he's strong at WR lets make a deal. He didn't send me an offer and looking at our rosters I really don't see a fair trade here. Do you? Non PPR, we play 1QB,2RB,2WR,2Flex,1TE,K and D. Here is our rosters..................

Me Him
QB Kaps QB Eli
RB Foster RB Sjax
RB Martin RB Sproles
WR Andre WR AJ
WR SSmith WR Welker
Flex DMC Flex Jennings
Flex Gore Flex Hilton

Bench guys that matter (kinda)
Me Him
BTate BJacobs
Stacy PThomas
Givens Woodhead
Hartline DMoore
Sanders TBMW

I'm thinking maybe Gore for Hilton but that seems like I'm shorting myself. Another thought was Gore and Hartline for Sjax and Hilton.....................or just stand pat and wait for everybody else to spend all of their waiver wire money and scoop up the next big WR. Thoughts?

Right...............but after week 6 I feel I way upgrade and feel this team is strong enough to handle losing Gore for 3-4 weeks..............then again all it would take for this to be a disaster is DMC's duct tape gives out then I would be kinda screwed. Would love to get AJ from him but just don't see that happening.

If your want AJ, my advice is to offer up Foster. You could probably add any throw in toy want from his team.

Was thinking that too but I have a feeling Foster is gonna break out....................or break. Maybe Foster for AJ and a draft pick..................hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

If you could get AJ Green for Foster...DO IT!

I'm gonna go ahead and say that Foster isn't even the best RB on his team, and it's just a matter of time before they figure it out.

I pretty much agree here. . even though it sounds like blasphemy

What about Foster and Smith for SJAx and Green?

Think he would do that with SJAX out and Foster's name value? Maybe?

His problem is he has to start a second RB, SJAX is out, and his other options blow.

I'd offer Gore for SJAX. You have options over the next couple of weeks that he doesn't have and can reap the rewards later.

Why give him a gift... is sjax that much better than gore?? what has SJAX done in this short season that makes you believe he is so good?? If he is hurt and may be out until week 6, why not make this owner pay for gore... you wont get AJ but you could still upgrade elsewhere...

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

I like the Gore for Hilton offer too. But my guess is that since he approached you, he's looking for more.

Well since he came to me I think Imma offer Foster and Hartline for AJ and Hilton. Gore for Hilton straight up isn't enough IMHO................was also thinking I could blow my waiver wire money and claim Starks and make him part of the deal and as an added bonus I cock block him because you know he's gonna bid on Starks.............hahaha

5.5 YPC (as opposed to 2.0 for Gore) and no real replacement while he's gone or possible feature back pushing for his role. Throw in 17 FF points in five quarters (as opposed to 14 in eight for Gore) - which all kinda bears out why he was generally taken a full round earlier than Gore in the first place.
