How many DLinemen usually make the roster?? We are supposedly weak there but Im counting 15-16 on the roster. If we are so weak there why is it so hard to even cut it to 10 or 11
I agree with what you are saying but if Melton gets healthy I think it has a chance to be a strength . Im not counting on Spencer much, but Crawford can be a difference maker I believe. Health with those 3 as the others will be key but I just saw Marinelli turn Hatcher into a Pro Bowler and got others ready to play on Sunday with one day of practice at times. Think back to the early 90s. Those Dlines had one really great player and bunch of other guys that were hungry and did their jobs. Im not saying these guys are as good as Lett, Maryland, Tolbert , Casillas, Jones, Jeffcoat, Hennings, Haley but I do think they can be a solid group. I dont know how much you can see in a player doing OTAs w/o pads but what I have read it sure sounds like they hit gold with the Undrafted FA- named Coleman at DT.
Matt Johnson at it again!!
time to end the experiment and move on
I agree, but Jerry won't. His ''combine'' numbers are right there with the best safeties in the game
even JJ has to recognize that Johnson has had all the chances he should have had
Johnson costs next to nothing. Plenty of time to cut him in August if he can't stay upright and make plays
I agree, not like he is costing anyone a roster spot right now.
I sense a bit of sarcasm here.
