I have friends in SE DC who tote guns, have been shot and have committed numerous murders. I know them well. When I go to the city, I hang and take photos with them. Does that make me a murderer? You're judging a guy based on the alleged past actions of someone who has not even been convicted of anything, who there is not enough public information to draw a reasonable conclusion that it was cut and dry (OJ practically admitted it, for example), and most importantly, who isn't desean.

Personally, I kind of like the negative pub The Skins and Jackson are getting for this deal. Usually it turns into a personal thing for the player and/or bulletin board material.

This is only a 3 year deal for a very good player in his prime. D-Jax has EVERYTHING to play for the next 3 seasons and his career will not be even close to done at the end of this contract. Its pretty simple, if he behaves himself and plays very well (over the next 2 or 3 years), he will be extended or offered another lucrative contract (hopefully with us) that could take him to the end of his career. If he screws up ... NOONE will want him and/or our team will part ways with him ... and it will in all likelihood be a career killer. Sure, losing the money would suck... but the only way this would be an epic fail is if he does us like that sumbitch Haynesworth did..

I wasn't referring to things that have happened already. I was stating at some point in time, if you hang out with these guys, you will be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and be guilty of association...thus implicated in a crime.
