Did your favorite team over produce, under produce, or just about on schedule?

About what I expected record wise. I figured we would have a better offense with an actual passing QB at the helm, although Haskins far exceeded my expectations. I was disappointed in the defense but I should have figured there would be some growing pains in the secondary due to a high amount of NFL attrition over the past couple of years. Still the defense overall severely underperformed. Overall I'd say Ohio State performed as expected.

I felt we had the defense to win the ACC and get into the playoffs but I questioned whether our offensive limitations with Bryant at QB would let us get there. Once Dabo made the switch we've accomplished everything I expected.

If you would've told me OSU was a 12-1 B1G Champ with a 23 point win over a top 10 michigan and a road win over top 15 Penn State, I would've said they're a definite playoff team, so a letdown in that regard.

I called 10-2 at the beginning of the year, but that was when Wisconsin was supposed to be a top 5 team, PSU was a top 10 team and MSU was a top 12 team.

Basically we won the games we were supposed to win and looked like dogshit in the games against good teams.

Thought an 8-4 season was likely due to the personnel losses before the season, but then injuries and youth had us sitting at 4-6 with a loss to ODU on the resume needing to beat UVA (15 in a row!) and paying Marshall to get bowl eligible (longest active streak). We'll see if we can close out the year with an underdog win over Cincy to avoid a losing record.

Really, the only plus to the season was getting extended playing time for the young guys that may pay dividends in a couple years.

UW way underproduced. No reason at all to have lost to Oregon and Cal. Their offense overall was nowhere near what it should have been with the veteran players on that side of the ball. Defense was right where it should be. Kicker should be sent to Alaska to work for the oil companies and live in a house by himself next to a lake in the middle of nowhere that asshole.

I picked us to win 8-9 plus bowl so right on expectations. Overachieving by our historical norm however.

According to me, I said 9 wins with 10th win a bowl would be a solid season. WVU 'fans' thought we were going to the playoffs. I thought a NY6 bowl was possible, but.. we are WVU and we always find a way to screw the pooch!

Lost one more than I thought we would, but consider the season on schedule, as I was more interested in seeing an overall improvement in the on the field product. I think that was more than obvious that such was the case.

I predicted Nebraska to be 4-8 in that thread. The other Nebraska fans were all 6-6 or better.

Which means, Nebraska performed as expected for me.

Meh, I'm a Gamecock fan, I've learned to expect the worst. The Georgia game was the measuring stick....miles apart talent-wise. Injuries on defense were depleting, but even fully healthy the defense looked like a wet noodle, a bit surprising since Muschamp historically has a decent to good defense. Next year will be shite as well (take a peek at the schedule).
