I think they missed the boat not having the Pens VS Bruins game on today. 1 PM game time. I know the schedules are somewhat predetermined but they should have some flexibility. Also NBC has nothing but infomercials scheduled for a few hours. Versus has fishing shows scheduled.

The NFL playoff games don't start until later and I think this game would get good ratings. Am I wrong here?

I agree with ya Boss, but it has to do with TV rights. The NFL basically owns the network during the season, even if they're only playing one game a week for the most part, so no other sport can take up time in that day. That's the main reason we don't see NHL on there until after the Superbowl. It's not just ratings, but money/contractual issues.

But Versus could have had it on. I think you may be right about the NBC part though.

Pens and Bruins?

My god some channel has to pick that one up! :L

I would have thought Versus would have but the brainiacs there decided on fishing shows.

I wonder if TSN is carrying it? Maybe my Canadian friends can let me know.

I dont think Saturday afternoon games are in Versus contract, at least I dont think their broadcast contract states they can show a game whenever they want.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that TSN only showed games involving at least one Canadian team during the regular season.
