Especially since Moose is a lock to win the vote with the royal bias this year.
Yost is a slime ball and deserves at least ACL tear going up steps for next pitching change.
A joke? Ok. Both are at 2.2 fWAR..284/.390/.513/.902; 149 OPS+
Any at rate its a joke Moustakas is part of the final vote ahead of him.

Huh? As much as I hate his tactics (well all 30 managers to be honest) he isn't a slimeball.
Dozier isn't even remotely the biggest 'snub' based on stats.
Pretty sure every single player on the final vote has a higher fWAR and bWAR than A-Rod- a man without a position at this point in his career. This is not a 'snub.' This shouldn't even be on people's radars as far as I am concerned.
As convenient an excuse as that would be to scapegoat, the Giants were just a little bit better that series. Difference was Shields wasn't an ace, isn't an ace, and looked worn down by the time October rolled around. Could get into how that particular lineup was an accident waiting to happen vs lefties, let alone a great lefty.Well, even worse than an ACL tear is getting outcoached in the WS and losing it because of that. Game 4 specifically.
Wrong on both counts.
He tactically put Moose there because he knew he would get voted in and it would be an out for not having to choose another Royals.
And the stats heavily favor dozier as a massive snub along with literally every analysts and writer worth mentioning having him in

You have been tracking the net gains per week, right? Guys like Moose have been getting tiny numbers compared to guys behind them the past several weeks. I heavily doubt Moose wins out in the final fanvote.
Kluber didn't make it. Kiermaier didn't make it. Mookie Betts didn't make it. Dozier not making it as of now is problematic if one insists on 1st half performance mattering over all. (if true, Altuve shouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell at starting)
Dozier is far from the first, most egregious, or last snub in an ASG; or even this All Star Game.
This is also getting a lot of talk.
Make Prince play 1B you know his position?
Kick Tex off the team.
People have a very worthy reason of mentioning A rod and there's a reason many are right now.
The same position he is laughably bad at every time he plays it? The same position that put him towards the very bottom of 1B's with Detroit? Not following.
How the hell did Kluber or Kiermeier or Betts deserve to make it? Lol.
They were probably not on a single persons list.
Like seriously?
I am in the minority in a lot of things. Unfortunately for you, this doesn't mean I am wrong, either.Yes the one he's played his whole career at before Moreland a better fielder with a career year at the bat came along to help it out.
It seems you are in the minority on following a lot here....
All of them had an equal to or higher fWAR than Dozier. I picked them on purpose, ya know. The hyperbole surrounding Dozier is strong.

Lol yeah...cuz fwar is the stat that goes into determining All Stars.
Does Kiermeier even have 20 RBI yet? He might now. Havnet checked in about two weeks.
The league leader in runs, top 5 in EB hits and leading his position in homers, RBI, EXB hits and runs.
I mean I guess if dozier wasnt also a great defender...maybe??? But are you fucking serious? Kevin goddamn Kiermeier was your go to?
As to what? We wouldn't likely agree upon much of anything. Especially when it comes to voting most likely.Unfortunately for you, you are very wrong. Especially when Neddy Boy is really the only one on your side.
You mistake my citation of fWAR as rigid dogmatism when in reality it's just poking a hole into, ironically, your very rigid views. Especially Dozier. Are you not the same poster who tried to post a comparison of Kipnis and Dozier? Or am I lacking in recollection? As I do recall though, I have long since given up on the ASG getting anything right, hence why I wanted to see the farce perpetuated to force something to happen, but oh well. I'll certainly play along up to a point (hence my participation in these threads; and my role as devil's advocate) but when push comes to shove, I really don't care who plays if it is status quo. The home team in game 7 is 1 game above .500 in recent memory.
You should know by now from my time on the ALC thread that RBI have minimal utility for me. I'll politely agree to disagree here.
So, I don't see any cheating here. Someone gets 'snubbed,' this is how the ASG works, good and mostly bad. If Dozier doesn't make it, too bad. Many great players do in fact miss out.
Yeah, I kind of am hyping K-money. Deal with it. I'll play devil's advocate as I please.
