Im pining for the old days where NHL playoff refs let the players play instead of micromanaging every game. The ticky tack stuff is getting out of hand. How can you honestly call a high stick on Zajac when the Panthers player skated right into his stick from behind Zajac and got it in the face because he was crouched over? It looked like he intentionally tried to get a stick in his face. Where's the common sense judgment?? Looks like lots of dives from the Panthers that's not being called either. They can't beat us even strength and they know it.

Devils do look kinda tired. I think Ilya does have some sort of injury holding him back. He's not skating hard at all and the Panthers seem to be targeting him with hits. Marty is looking great again so that always puts the game in reach. Big third period coming!

its not even the refs though.

this team gets a powerplay and they dont do anything with it. they have trouble getting into the zone. there is zero intensity from anyone on this team. WHY!!!!!!
