I saw some talk in baseball blogs about changing Daniel Norris permanently to relief...and they were talking late inning stuff, not long relief. Interesting in that the Tigers have really no starting depth beyond Norris. Hopefully Beau Burrows can be ready by late summer...otherwise it is Artie Lewicki, Chad Bell, Saupold and who knows what?

This is what I said at the beginning of the season ... MLB-worthy players are just not there in the minor league system yet. Our most promising pitchers are 19-20 years old, tops. If/when there are pitcher injuries, this team goes from "really bad" to "2003-level bad".

I think we got a truer view of Detroit's bullpen today. They've been pitching well...time to come in for a reality check.

And I've watched the game-tying homer given up by Greene a few times now. A breaking ball 4 inches inside and a foot off the ground. 100% credit to the hitter on that one. It was a good pitch by Greene.
