Anytime Pelfrey gives you 5+ innings and only 2 runs allowed, I think the Tigers would be thrilled. Pitch count was up, but otherwise not a horrible start. It's the bats that are letting us down so far.

I know spirits are up....but I have a question.

What to do with Steven Moya? Obviously Ausmus has lied when he says contracts don't determine who he plays...as Upton remains an every day player. Moya's bat belongs in LF. His glove belongs on the bench. Just my opinion, but a fourth of the season is over....Upton has had his shot. Give Moya a long look. Take him out after the 7th inning for defensive purposes. Now...if the coaches have determined that he CAN'T play LF, then he needs to be optioned or traded. Playing him once a week does no one any good.

PS...Upton has ONE RBI in May. 24 Ks
