Sorry my question was fucked up....Holoday is playing great in Spring and has no options....are we going to keep 3 catchers?

I doubt that they do, but neither Holaday nor Salty are much for trade bait. If Salty can't play for the Tigers while making the MLB minimum, what value does he have? And teams know that Holaday either makes the team or will be available on waivers, having no options left. Another MLB team would have to be really desperate for a catcher to deal anyone worth a rip.

Waiting for him to go on waivers means only the team that claims him that is highest on the waiver order gets him... If a team really needs him they are better off trading something for him rather than crossing their fingers and hoping to get him on a claim. He has no options left so who ever claims him would have to have a spot on their 25 man open.

Well, I plead ignorance on how waivers works.

Tigers will probably end up running with 3 catchers to start the season while maybin is out... Only other real player that could get that roster spot would be Moya and I doubt they do that.

Worst record gets first claim on down. They have to have a 25 man roster spot open to claim him because he is out of options so they would most likely have to waive one of their own to make room.

Could be that Ausmus goes with 13 pitchers to start the season. Both Aviles and Romine can fill the 4th OF spot for a little while - until Maybin returns - or at least until after the series in Miami where they will have VMart on the bench more than likely.

Not for any length of time we won't. Maybe for a week, if nobody wants to trade for BH before camp breaks.

This is all I am saying... They are going to buy time most likey unless a team comes to them before the season starts.

I can 100% guarantee that Vice suffers from infected carbuncles, on his ass, from spending 17-18 hours a day sitting in front of his computer

Haven't you proved enough that @MiamiVice is sensitive and very easy to geek up ... why don't you leave him alone?

If @Iffster upsets you, why do you respond? When you respond or throw a bull shit or dislike on his comments ... He Wins.

Maybe you guys should have you own forum for this stuff, at the very least start your own thread.

Iffy has been trolling tigers fans for years since cbs. Regardless if i respond or not he is going to be here trolling if others here respond positively to his posts. You want him to leave all you have to do is get everyone that keeps giving him positive feedback to stop. The guy isn't posting here to have conversations about the Tigers... He is posting here to get Tigers fans to argue with each other. He was banned from the Tigers and Lions threads for this a few years back and let back in.

I can guarantee iffy will run away faster than you can imagine if everyone here told him too. It should be plain as day to anyone here that he posts stuff to encite arguments between tigers fans. Why do you think most of his posts contain made up negative stats about tigers players that he never acknowledges?
