Vice, I am trying to be polite now. I think you need to step away from SportsHoopla....not for a day, but for awhile. You are addicted to it. If you can, get away from your computer, too. Set a goal. Maybe stay off SportsHoopla until Opening Day, then come back and see if your view is different. I don't know the methodology behind everybody's WAR. I used Baseball Reference, maybe yours it better. I didn't start this to start a war about WAR. I started it about Tiger Pride and how Trammel and Whitaker belong in the Hall of Fame.

not sure what the difference is with the formula.. but I know that there is a couple of different ways they compute it. I am not a big WAR guy myself. Its a made up stat.. proven as such by the fact there is more than one way to calculate it...

I don't really lose sleep over Trammel and Whitaker not being in the HOF. To be honest... Only Trammel has a legit case.

I would rather the HOF be selective and keep more people out than just have it be an easy thing to obtain. I think baseball's HOF is the most difficult to get into and I kind of like it that way.

Not being in the HOF doesn't take away from Alan Trammel or Lou Whitakers career to me. They were great Tigers.
