That a pretty big conspiracy. I didn't know Trout had that much power. Anyway back to Gose ... I am happy with him and Maybin patrolling Centerfield.
There are multiple ways to calculate WAR now. Many sites have their own formulas... and many of those sites are total Mike Trout homers.

The funny thing is Bryce Harper had a season that was better than anything Trout ever has had last year in terms of traditional or any WAR formula you can come up with.

LOL Harper is so much better than Trout at this point its not even funny.. do you look at stats at all? It would explain why you thought Brent Garnder was a CFer.

As you see kiddies, he continues with this swerve. It is one of his favorites. We can call this the "Gardner Swerve". He has even done this kind of thing using spelling errors and typos by posters......

I'll take Mike Trout over Bryce Harper ... don't get upset with me ... it's just an opinion.

Bonds, Miguel, Hornsby, Cobb, Ruth, Mantle, Mayes, Frank Robinson, Yastrzemski, A-Rod, Sosa, Greenberg, Maris, Cash, Hack Wilson ... and the list go on. Not even close. What did he do in the playoffs?

I am not in the mood to sit here and argue opinion. There is no end to it. I think Harper is much better than Trout... You think Trout is better than Harper. Enjoy your Sunday.

Voltaire....you need to learn that, unless you agree with Vice, your opinions are wrong.

Cheek Swab Confirms Long Suspected Theory.

Detroit Tiger officials today confirmed that Tiger shortstop prospect, Dixon Machado, is the biological grandson of former Detroit Tiger infielder, and famously inept batter, Ray Oyler. Tiger asst vice president, I.P. Knightly, announced the findings in an effort to persuade some of the few remaining deluded Tiger fans to begin to realize that Machado is not the second coming of Alan Trammell, or of Tom Veryzer, for that matter. Knightly stated, "We realize a few disturbed "homers" will continue to pencil Dixon Machado's name in as the team's starting shortstop in 2017, but much like one fan did with Hernan Perez, it would be a giant mistake on their part."

The Cards have lost ex Tiger SS, JHonny P, for at least the first couple of months of the season. They are seeking a backup for his replacement, Jed Gyorko. They'd prefer a strong defensive SS and have said to be in touch with the D'Backs about Nick Ahmed and other teams with a glove-first shortstop they'd move. Wondering if they have contacted Detroit about Romine or (ahem), Machado?

I don't always agree with Stephen Hawking, let alone Vice ... I would take the over on 80.5 victories (the odds Las Vegas is giving the Tigers in 2016).

Hawking sometimes disagrees with Hawking.

Possibly the smartest guy on the planet, knows he's wrong from time to time. It happens.

All the REALLY good scientists get just as excited with their failures as they do with their successes, because it means they've learned something. I wish some people on this forum would embrace that philosophy.
