I am glad you are satisfied that the Tiger front office has been able to ADD to the team. (I guess when I get my suit back from the cleaners, that ADDS to my wardrobe?)

If the Tigers go on to the post-season, I will remember that great work Avila and Company did at the trade deadline (and before, when the players initially were injured) and hope he gets a raise.
What a fool believes....I never said what u assumed....but dream on..

Do you bring up Joe Jimenez this early in his career?

In 6th, 7th inning type situations I would. Give him a taste and see if he is the real deal. If you are talented your talented.

I don't think we could get Gray without hamstringing the current team tbh. He's having a poor season but he's logged enough success that his value should still be very high. Norris/Boyd/Moya maybe, and I don't want to see both young lefties go for a guy that isn't on top of his game at the moment.

But I think we could go after Rich Hill. (Billy would trade anyone if he felt the return value outweighs what he's giving, imo. It'd suck to be an As fan.)

Hard to see Ilitich signing off on Sanchez being released. That's a lot of money over multiple seasons.

Rondon can go down. I wouldn't mind that one bit. Lol

With the bad year if you could get him the price may not be what it would have been just last season. I would do Moya and either Boyd or Norris but not both. Maybe a low A guy as a kicker but not two top pitching prospects. Problem is conversation would start with Jimenez.

I think that's what a lot of teams are doing this year as sellers. Naming their prospect/s of choice and not budging.

Which is a great move, knowing there aren't any clear cut favorites to win in the playoffs. A lot of competition for what is available. Atleast a lot for the big impact or non-rental types.

I've been out of the loop on vacation. Didn't even realize Jimenez got promoted to AAA.

He just pitched his first 1/3 inning at AAA on Friday. Why not let him get a few appearances in for Toledo? He is 22. He might be a good Sept call up against teams who would be unfamiliar with him. Bring him up now, you loose that "edge".

Sorry to be such a negative a-hole again....but do you really think there are a lot of GMs out there thirsting for Steven Moya? (First off...half of the GMs represent NL teams who would not want to get near Mr. Moya's glove.)

Theyd burn a year of control if they don't wait till September though.

Could be worth it though.

Man... JV is at top form again. This is awesome and I was so wrong on him coming into the year.

I think Oakland would be interested. Cheap with power.

On his own, not really bringing you much, but as a piece, he's got some value to a team than could use a power hitting lefty Part time DH part time bad outfielder. Tampa could have some use for him also. Maybe Minny, but I don't know what they'd give, or if we'd send a youngster there.

Oakland just picked up Eibner from KC who has some pop. Oh I'm not saying some team wouldn't take him....they just won't give anything in return. As far as a throw in? Personally I would fear another team might be insulted if you offered to add him to a trade. LOL

Moya's got some great tools ... I'm not in a hurry to get rid of him. I think the Tigers can pretty much stand pat. Maybe a minor move here or there. Lowe needs to go to the DL.

Nonsense! What great tools does he have? Power and ???? I understand he may have a good arm....but you have to field the ball first. Hitting for average? Speed? What tools?

You can't just put a player on the DL....that is a good way to get the Player's Assoc on your ass real quick.

Wow McCann comes through. I was expecting the game to be over once he was at bat.
