This game has train wreck written all over it.......Thanks Mr. David Price for letting me go to bed early tonite...........Turning this one off before the Tigers even bat......Nite all.........
Definitely similarities between this year and last years team. Pen isnt much improved although it is better I believe and the offense is still very streaky but adding cespedes to the offense and another year for nick c is big. Defense and speed on team much improved while the rotation will take a hit if JV is going to have injury issues. Definitely cannot count on lobstein or anyone else in that fifth spot. I was fine with greene or simon as the four five but not three four five. Otherwise if JV returns rotation will be fine. Not overly concerned about sanchez and price. They will be fine and simon and greene will not continue to be lights out. Overall I think this is a much better team than last years and they will once again need to add some bullpen help at trade deadline. Surprised the usual naysayers havent come on here considering the tigers have lost two straight.
Krol sent to Toledo and Wilson called up....what is up with Rondon? How far way is he?
With Nathan gone the Tigers may be able to set up and fix the BP not worrying about Nathan. ...Soria the closer and the other guys now knowing their places. ...
Only positive yesterday was Sanchez pitching well after two crummy outings. Other than that, blecchh. Very poor patience by the Tiger hitters with RISP all series.
