Granddaughter had a basketball tourney....up by the airport.....not downtown....no probs....coming back end of August to see the Tigers and Sox play....

So i see the Marlins have DFA'd Jacob Turner. I guess based on the last 2 Tigers/Marlins trade the fish may have taken DD number out of the phone list.

The whole state of florida might take DD's number out. TB isnt going to fair any better.

So u know about javier baez then. That kids gonna be a stud. I dont care for other teams outside of the tigers but since i moved to chicago i root for them since theyre in the NL. the best thing about the cubbies is their minor league teams lol. Plus cubby and sox fans hate each other so it works out well. I actually get decent comments on the northside when im wearing my tigers stuff. Unlike on the southside where people give me dirty looks.

My best friend from michigan is a HUGE UM fan and when we went to wrigleyville the UM bar was all quiet, very dim, looked like they were sitting in there sipping martini's playing chess. I swear i saw 007 in there. Even my friend was like fawk that. But truthfully, that night the wisky bar was the most wildest. We didnt go in but from the outside they were getting it in. And i hate wisky as much as UM.

Tigers signed jim johnson to a minor league contract. So the A's will pay him millions to pitch against them maybe. Hopefully detroit can help him fix his issues.

Man if anyone would of told me at the start of the year the tigers would have soria, nathan, hanrahan, and johnson along with JV, max, price, sanchez and ricky p......those were all big names at the start of the year...well except hanrahan but he was great a few yrs back. Nathan, soria, and johnson were all top notch closers before the season. Then add in the last 3 CY's.........AND we still got miggy and vmart...

Growing up I was huge JoePa fan got crushed by cover up. It was better than a Terp fan. The Cherry bowl and Blue Bonnett bowls sucked. PSU it was. Transformed to UM while in Michigan and totally after scandal. Always hated the suckeyes so it felt right. I am not really into UM and lil brother rivalry. I cheer all BIG14 teams on ...maybe even OSU in a title game.

Now I might still be cheering on UM.... Maryland that is.
