howie, effectively I AM banned here. I tried posting baseball stuff...pretty much ignored. I imagine I won't be posting any baseball posts here....why bother? I admit, the "I Hate Iffy" Fan Club has won.

(Besides....a couple of these guys will still be talking about me, if I am here or not.)

But you are right....I should keep my word and stay out of here. Maybe just post on the 'specialty' threads in the Detroit forum.

Does it concern anyone that valverde is toiling away in triple a, why didnt they just cut the guy? In other news i see we signed bondo to a minor league contract. Wheres zumaya maybe we can snatch him up as well. So second half questions..does chris davis keep up this pace? I mean i always knew he had potential texas must be kicking themselves right now. Will the dodgers continue to contend? They had had quite the turnaround. Will there be any team competing with detroit come august? Who makes the playoffs? In the American league ill take the orioles, tigers and rangers to win their divisions with the athletics and red sox as wild cards. Nl i like dodgers pirates and braves to win their division with the reds and cards as wild cards. Will the tigers make a trade at the deadline, would you be willing to give up castellanos for an elite closer?

OK baseball.....who should the Tigers seek to aid their pen? I'd like to see a lefty and a righty added. howie mentioned that Miami's Steve Cishek has been rumored to be of interest by Detroit. Personal opinion here: Don't want to see Papelbon in Detroit...too much cash for his dwindling ability. Maybe Kevin Gregg of the Cubs...not great but he has closer experience.

Why arent the tigers pursuing perkins? What would he cost. If the tigs could somehow get crain and perkins.....division is theirs. Stay faaaaaaaaaaaar away from gregg..hes the cubs version of valverde. Maybe trade valverde for him. Thats fair.

Cishek, perkins, and crain are on my list. 2 out of 3 and you can pencil the tigers into the playoffs.

Just hope somehow we keep castellanos
