Impressed by Tribes' offense. If they can land a top starter this summer - they might be the #1 threat. Meanwhile - the Tigers won't pull away, not with a mediocre bullpen and an on and off offense.

2-4 in extra's and 3-6 in one run games. unfortunately this is the result with a not so great pen and inability to manufacture runs. afraid despite the talent on this team the other teams in the division (Royals/tribe) both have good pens and can manufacture runs.

Tribe 9-3 one run games
Royals 7-7 one run games

After todays joke, Detroit looks very . . . . average. Don't put Martinez in the seventh slot, put him on the bench. If we can't compete with Washington and Cleveland . . . . . . . . .

Cabrera is over .500 with two out and runners in scoring position. And Avila hit a go ahead homer in the ninth last week. Hell, they made a great run last night but just came up a run short. I'm not all that concerned.

Papa Grande was Caca Grande yesterday, but the hitting wasn't there either. The bats do appear to be too hot and cold lately ... 10 runs one game then struggle to get a clutch hit the next game.

tigers are fine, people are overreacting per usual. The tigers were much worse to start the season last year. Their pen is definitely their weakness but its not awful by any stretch of the imagination. Vmart hasn't come around yet, you are ready to give up on a stud hitter after one month when he's spent the entire last season on the DL? It hasn't even warmed up yet, relax.

I don't consider the Indians a threat....yet iffster. Even if they do land a top pitcher. Their team strikes out way too much, Reynolds is hot but no way does he keep it up he normally hits what .220 with a billion strike outs? The Indians have a great pen, some decent hitters and Justin masterson. They still have a ways to go, I like the royals chances far better this year.

porcello once again a quality start as their fifth pitcher. Impressive 1-6 starting pitching.

I seen this injun story before. They wont do it for a full year.

But i am pretty sick of seeing men on 3rd with less than 2 outs and they pop up or strike out. That and....well....papa fatass......talk about ruining mothers day......THROW FUCKIN STRIKES YOU JACKASS!

Walk the leadoff hitter in the 9th? The one guy u DONT want on the bases and u give him a free pass.....walk giambi? 42 yr old giambi? Whats the over under for the fat potatoes blown saves this year?

Injun fans are flooding the internet with joy over a series win in may. You would think as many fans as i seen online, they would have more than 98 fans at the game.

I thought for sure the Tigers would re-acquire Ryan Raburn to take AJ's place. Detroit probably does not have the prospects that the Tribe would want to give up RR.

With Jackson on the DL who will lead off for the Tigers or fill the center field. We take Jacksons speed for granted. Also someone to get on base like he does.

Brennan Boesch was sent to AAA by the Yankees. I guess the New York crowd was not impressed by his 'sweet swing'.

Iffy just keeps on pulling on those short hairs, hey burf????:laugh3:
