BTW...Gibson did an awful job with his pen yesterday.

Funny, iffster. Won't let anyone in here take a swipe at Leyland, but Gibby is fair game.

If Leyland handled his pen like Gibson did yesterday....I wouldn't have been able to get a word in -good or bad-about JL. This board would have exploded.

I like what Gibby is doing in Phoenix....but Thursday he really messed up. His team bailed him out in the end, however.

Nice of Tito to load his lineup with lefties. Ricky's cruisin' and some Tigers fanstress gets to show some serious cleave. It's a win win. Unless you're me, and you slapped 25 in Vcash down on the Indians tonight. Then it's a win win lose with blurry background boobies.

Not sure if Rod n Mario have mentioned this or not yet. But tonight is the first sellout for the Indians in nearly two seasons.

I heard it was $1 hot dog night in Cleveland. That might have had something to do with the sellout.

I believe the tribe did sellout the opener against the Yanks. It is pathetic having to offer dollar hot dogs to get a sellout on July 4 weekend when your tea is in second place, playing the first place team.

When will owners learn? WCF might be selling me a Ford F150 for 5 bucks if I wait long enough.

Davis just hit #33 and added two RBI....only one behind Cabrera. Miggy's been coasting lately....if he wants another MVP - he better pick it up a little.

Not to worried, it is early July. Miggy is steady throughout the season. He is off to a slow July. See where he is Aug. 1st. I do not feel Miggy gives two winks about personal accomplishments. He wants a ring!!

well not be a skeptic. but when a guy, especially one playing for an Al East team is about to surpass his career HR and RBI total (33 and 85) half way through the season it screams JUICER (Brady Anderson rings a bell)

Agreed. But Miggy already has a ring. It's getting the other guys hungry for one......I'm sure JV is the hungriest.

He's been to the big dance twice and came up short. The contract is fine, but I'm sure he wants what Miggy got years before he was on the Tigers.

They both want it.......Get the other 23 guys to want it and it might happen.

You can tell Dirks wants it, Hunter wants it.

Sometimes that jogging down to first base looks real bad........Guys that want it sprint. Everytime.

It really is a silly pace he's on. Small park etc etc......Sosa and Mcquire could only hide the juice and corked bats for so long.

Davis has also passed his high for doubles already, too. The fact that he had a good year last, gives him some cover...in regards to juicing. I'll bet that when he reaches 50 homers, the juicing questions will start to be brought up more.

Raburn with a two run shot in the ninth for the Tribe. He saw that he didn't make the All-Star team and was pissed!

Coke, Putkonen, Downs.............yuck

Funny this is a tigers board....we get the davis update and the miggy better do this or that post.......and so he hits a 2 run bomb......,.,and no post for him?

But yet a ryan raburn update?

The only time we get a miggy or fielder update, is when they are struggling.

Sounds like someones pulling for davis and raburn but not miggy and fielder........just leyland and lamont.

Honestly I don't care and I don't think Miggy does either...he's been with the Tigers as long as he was with the Marlins and I would like to think that he calls Detroit home and wants to play the rest of his career wearing the English D. Plus he's the centerpiece of this team unlike the year Florida won. Trust me, he wants a ring with this team more than anything else.

OK. That was amazing how you spun that. I 'mention' Davis...so I must be pulling for him. I 'don't mention' Miggy, so I am against him. ALTHOUGH - Imentioned him in the same post!!! And Raburn.....how long have I been doing the Raburn updates? Since last year, right. Why do you think that is? (Hint...I stopped the Inge updates because I did not think more than one update was needed to get my point across. lol)

As for pulling for Lamont??? Even muzz would laugh at that one.
