Porcello's suspension is somewhat without weight. he will appeal and it will be heard the next time they are in Ny (early August). This is what will happen.
Rick is scheduled to pitch on the wednesday before the break. He will then drop his appeal and serve his suspension the last 4 days of the regular season and the first 2 days after the break. he will of course still be docked six days pay . However since this suspension is a direct result of our senior citizen manager unable to keep his mouth shut (there will a price to be paid) the tigers will give porcello a little $$ to make up for it.
Agreed, but who foots the bill for Ricky with the back door money? Ilitch?
So we go around the merry go round and JL fucks up, Porcello gets back door money and Ilitch pays the price.
