Not gonna lie, I bet on Matt Harvey today. I wasn't counting on Max to come thru at the plate and on the mound. (Six innings was about what I figured though). Best thirty vbucks I've ever lost.

Missed the game last nite....how was VMart behind the plate? Alex was pulled from rehab...still has concussion symptoms. ....

VMart looked good. I think he's catching again tomorrow.

Ok fellas, I think it's about time to talk about Home field advantage.......The Chances looked real bad a few months ago.....They have done a 180 degree turn in our favor.......We have a real chance at getting it this year.....Something we havn't had the past few times we made the playoffs if I remember correctly.....

The AL won the All Star game so it's Time to PUT UP OR SHUT UP! DD gave us this team so excuses will be in short supply barring a injury to a few select key guys.

Vmart probably should be catching more often than not, he cant be worse than avila. Vmart and pena sounds good to me.

No reason for Vmart to catch except in NL parks. Unless we really feel a need to get the bat of kelly or matt T in the lineup. Maybe an occasionally cabby to DH, Kelly/santiago to 3b and vmart to catch. But as an everyday C, probably not gonna happen. Arm for throwing runners out is worse than the other catchers if that is even possible.

We have Maxie Poo with a 19-1 record, We have Sanchez with a 2.45 ERA both leading the AL without Verlander.....I would guess Justin doesn't take kindly to this.

Wouldn't it be nice to have JV pitch game 3 in the WS? That's a luxury were looking at right now.

I don't know. Maybe go out there in the 9th, ONCE! I'm actually looking forward to him, and his ridiculous pitch counts, winning the CY Young. That way DD can load up on whatever he wants by dealing him before the ink is dry on his new deal. It's great that he keep winning and winning and winning and winning..... But he bothers me. That's never going to change. Until he's a Texas Ranger. Or a Los Angeles Dodger or whatever. What was up with Harvey giving up singles Rick Porcello style? That was surprising.

Wrong NY team.....It wasn't on National TV it was the Mets not the Yanks.....Big Difference.

big markets like NY have zero to do with cy young. NY writers have 2 votes out of 30. hence the fact the last 10 AL cy young winners have come from the AL Eeast only twice. Price in Tampa and Halady in Toronto. It is more about the #'s. Some voters go for wins and some look at secondary #'s. Feliz, Darvish and max are all for the most part even in secondary numbers and max is lapping the field in wins.

This is pretty much Rick's implosion period. He should get better in the 5th-6th. We may need another run or two....or three...

Gotta give Miggy some rest, time at DH and/or 1B, late inning PH, etc... Teams will bunt on him and those grounders will get by him until he's healthy.
