Max will be in his walk year next season and with Boras as his agent there are only a handful of teams that could afford him. So I do not think the Tigers will get as much for him as we might think. I really think he stays next season and either signs an extension or gets the dreaded qualifying offer in order to get a supp pick for losing him. The problem is the teams with $$ to sign Max (Yanks) have no prospects and teams with the prospects do not have the $$ to sign him long term.
