Our softball team is starting to look like a pretty damn good softball team eh?

Hopefully JV will get 6 in, then depart. Get him a QS and let the BP cruise today...i think JV has been the only pitcher lately who hasnt had a QS for the tigers. Our starters are focused in. Even ricky!

Yeah, not happy with the 4 walks for JV, but at least he's limited the damage.

55 walks now on July 31, after walking only 60 all last season. Not good.

Yeah a game i went to last year they wore them on a sunday....i kno the other ones are from 83. Remember the shorts? Had to be the dumbest idea ever in baseball..

MY bad 3b coach held up Avila......God awful....You have to give Torii the chance. That's a shot at history. You have to give the guy the chance in a blow out game....If it was a 2-1 game then I would understand.

Wow i dont know what to do.....the tigers played a weekday afternoon ballgame and won.......seems like they have lost alot when they play the final game of a series in the afternoon.....for once im not frustrated and avoid baseball the rest of the day...now only if the sox can pull off a miracle tonight.

The bad part of the trade is having to face garcia 19 games a year. I sure hope he doesnt become another miggy. I preferred the tigers had traded him....just not in the division. At least i can finally like a white sox player...wish they would drop the bad guy wear black and go back to their red white and blue 80's sox uni's.

I wouldn't worry about that so much. Tigers needed a starting SS with range more than a corner OF. With Hunter locked up through at least next season there isn't room in detroit for both. Tigers probably could have moved Nick instead, but i think they still may move Nick to 3B and one of the big guns to DH when V marts deal is done. By the way it may be possible that our ground and pound pitchers (Rick and Doug) both see their ERA's drop by a whole run Tigers still have Collins/Fields in Erie and Moya in lakeland as far as OF prospects go that could contribute in the next 2 seasons.

A whole run due to more range at SS? Not sure about that. Their ERAs will drop some, but Fister is already a career 3.50 ERA pitcher, and Rick doesn't miss enough bats still to drop an entire run.
