on this note and sorry to hijack but my sons team played a game last week where 2 players and 2 coaches got "abuse of official" penalties.


It all started when my son took a double minor head contact penalty that was bogus. He hit a kid in the corner (not the penalty)and put him on his ass, the kid reached up and grabbed my son by the arm and pulled him down and then pulled on his cage so my son pushed him back down to the ice .. after as the ref skated to our bench (teammate #4 (who is out for the season after breaking his ankle in Phoenix), standing on the bench in his suit and tie gave the ref one of these:
