I think Canada is a good place for the young man to learn and develop and then take another shot at the NFL. His value is very low right now ans there isn't a team in the league that should want him on their roster. A few years in Canada might be just what he needs to learn a new position as well. Either way, I'm doubtful that we will see Tebow in any major roles next season.

I gotta admit I don't watch much CFL, so I don't know how competent the defenses there are defending the zone read (because Tebow is a ZR QB). I still think he's going to get another swing with the Jags. He's popular down that way (for good reason), the franchise is in a bad state, and he would at least provide a little daytime drama down there.

Ok, I read the blog, and would like to note one thing. I guess when you're talking about QBs "on the market", you're talking about the trade market. Because Flynn just signed a (fat) 3-yr contract, only to ride pine, and Alex Smith is signed through 2014 (and a huge cap hit, too, btw). Vick is a ridiculous option for NYJs - going that way would take their poor organization management below the basement.

Yes, I mean the trade market. Flynn was signed to be a starter and he is being paid as a starter so it would make sense for the Seahawks to trade him and then sign a cheaper backup. The same goes for Alex Smith. While both teams could afford to keep both players around it just makes sense to move them in order to improve the rest of the team. Vick is extremely talented, but after the year he just had he won't be back in Philly. He will get a shot somewhere else though due to his ability.
