That already happened when they moved the team which had talent to Baltimore. Doubt the NFL would let it happen again but who knows.

Hopefully the FBI take this fucker down and he's forced to sell the team. To someone who wants to keep it in Cleveland and who wants to WIN.

Fuck, Lebron might have enough to buy the team by the end of his career lol

I would say a lot of fans around the league feel your pain. Being in the hunt or being a constant disappointment starts with ownership.

Revolving door policy on coaches and QB instead of consistency and building a team... that's why when people cite "experts" and refer to HCs and GMs, I laugh in their face.

The best Browns story still has to be firing Bill Belichick, who had built a staff that included Nick Saban as defensive coordinator, Kirk Ferentz coaching the o-line, and countless other people who would go on to acclaim in football coaching. A total of nine future NFL head coaches, three major college coaches, and several GMs in the front office.

Yeah, Bill was starting to build something too :gaah:

Brutus, I feel for Brown's fans and hope they get the trophy one day.
If the owner is a fuckup, then it probably wont happen.
You guys deserve better.

Man I don't even care about a trophy. At this point I'd be happy as a respectable team that does things the right way and isn't the laughing stock of the NFL.

We can't even lose right and get the first pick.

Is that a joke?

Have you seen them this year? With short Buss running the show I'm not optimistic we will be a contender anytime soon. Not joking, nor am I making fun. I've been hoping for the Brownies to return to their Dog Pound days.

I was a Browns fan for a few weeks.

Barry retired, I hated Charlie Batch more than anything outside of the Ford family, then Chris Spielman retired, and I went back to rooting for a bunch of other losers without missing a game.

Feel yer pain Sarge.

The only time that I liked watching the Browns play was because Bernie Kosar was the qb. Long time ago

The lack of perspective here is truly amazing.

You seriously compare being a Lakers fan to being a Browns fan? Just because you finally are seeing a bad season or two after decades of championships and hall of fame players?

Will they ever turn it around?

I've been a fan of the Steelers for over 40 yrs and there was a long stretch of competitive, playoff caliber football in CLE...the NFL championship era was before my time really, but there were times in the SB era that you didn't want to go into CLE municipal and face that team.

Now...there were rumors about Haslam running a squirely business even before he was announced as the owner...but...the numerous high draft pick talent was stacking up and slowly but surely the results were showing up on the field, not always wins, but tough hard fought games...but the constant turnover of HC and QB has basically equaled two steps forward only to take two steps backward.

The HC seems like a solid choice, but whomever in the FO thought Manziel was an NFL QB needs to pee in a cup imo, from day one I felt he was never going to be a long time starter in this DIV.

Fix...Reinstate Hoyer as the starter.

Draft...#12...get the best DL available to pair with Taylor...#19...take the best WR on the board...or trade down to the bottom of the 1st round and take Hundley from UCLA, and pick up another 3rd round pick...then go WR in the second round.

CLE should get no less than 3 starters from this draft.

Pardon me if don't wish you the best because it might be at my team's expense, but I do feel for ya.
