They're pretty even, however I don't think the argument holds water that Denever has way more targets and Dez is the only redeemable guy. When it comes down to it Witten is the guy Romo will target in a must scenario. T Williams is getting a lot of looks now, Miles got looks before he went down. The Cowboys have targets to move the ball around with. You could also argue that if Denver's other targets are stronger than the Cowboys that Dez would see more double/triple coverage than DT.

Both are studs, and personality wise it's not even close DT is better. But if I had to choose, one must win game you could have either guy on your team I'd go with Dez. The circus catches he pulls out of his ass are just unmeasurable.

My top 5 would probably be:

Calvin
Julio
AJ Green
Fitz
Dez

I'm a huge Julio fan. He could be the most physically gifted WR in this league minus Calvin, but he just can't stay healthy, so I can't justify having him that high on my list.

Fitz is much better than Calvin.

A few years ago I would have agreed that Fitz was still the man, but I think Calvin has surpassed him. Now it will be interesting to see if Calvin can rise to the occasion in the post season the way Fitz did, if the Lions can make the playoffs.

Brady has had Moss, Welker, Gronkowski, and Hernandez to throw it to for the second half of his career. Those are elite targets.

Lol at calling the Cowboys and Patriots offensive lines washes.

LOL X2 on that last comment. Someone clearly wasn't watching the Cowboys.

That statement is less absurd than calling romo near the level of Brady. Romo is one of the most overpaid QBs in the game.

No, I'm not. Take the slight (and it is slight) edge in jump ball in ability over the commanding lead in hands, route running, horizontal range he can catch in, quickness/elusiveness, etc. fine. But Fitz with a real QB dominates Johnson with the GOAT at QB.

And now I'm laughing at you. Fitz's best year, with a "real" QB is what Johnson did in '08 with shit at QB for the Lions. Since he's gotten to maintain a partnership with Stafford for the last 2 and a half years, he's tearing shit up. Discussion over brah.

How fucking old are you? You make some of the most absurd observations on this site. This one takes the cake.

Please tell me you're not trying to call Kurt Warner by the time he got to Arizona a real QB.

He was an integral part of getting the Cards to the SB in '08, so ummmm yeah, he was a real QB still at that time.

Wait - What???

Kurt freeking Warner not a "real QB" in Arizona? The same Arizona that was a door mat for the rest of the league & he got them a play away from a SB trophy? The same tam that went back to sucking right when he left?

Kurt Warner, along with Steve Young, is one of the most under-appreciated QBs in the history of the NFL. Granted he had some amazing receiving corps, but he didn't have a good OL in Arizona. And against the average, he has the second highest yards per attempt in the history of the league (behind Steve Young). The dude had a scary-quick release, and he was just accurate & really efficient. That's what you want in a QB. In fact, one could make an argument he got screwed by a couple of huge calls in the Super Bowl and he deserved to be the only QB to win a ring on 2 teams, but that's a different topic.

I have Kurt Warner as one of the 5 best QBs I've ever seen play.

He was good in St. Louis but not near an all-time great. He was nothing special in Arizona.

Don't waste your energy. No point in responding to someone who just makes statements with no facts to back it up.

Hey JDM is a fun guy to have around. He's got strong opinions that come from left field and never supported by anything but his opinion. I know many posters here are left with WTF after reading a post stating his opinion on a player, but heck it's really kind of humorous and adds to the board IMO. Keep those opinions coming JDM, don't get discouraged by the naysayers.:suds:

Oh don't get me wrong, its good to see different opinions. Just can't agree with them, or take them seriously. I mean, I'll debate with anyone. Its a great way to pass the time. Just don't expect me to take them seriously if they come out and say that one of the best QBs ever wasn't that good. I'm sure everyone has at least 1 opinion like that though that nobody can take seriously.

He's trying too hard to be the smartest guy in the room, and it's backfiring completely.

Not sure about the other team boards, but JDM posts a decent amount on the Niners board. I have yet to see a post of his that I would consider as productive. Most of them are thinly veiled attempts at trolling/confrontation that add zero value to the discussion itself.
