Thomas is playing on a team who spreads the ball around to 3 other very good options, while Dez is the primary option on a team who only has 1 other very good option at this time. Thomas has more catches despite being targeted less, and has more yards. The only thing Dez has more of is TDs, and that's because he is the #1 option and gets more opportunities.

How much longer will people continue to dismiss Thomas, when its obvious that he's always been the better player?

The worst part would be just having bryant on your team for any reason

He's basically a craptastic version of TO. He's not as physically imposing, he has even more problems than TO had, and he hasn't produced even close to what TO did yet.

Dez also has to deal with tony romo as his QB (while being the only player on that roster for defenses to stop) while Demarius has Peyton and two other very talented receivers to take coverage off of him. Despite this, he's only been targeted 7 less times.

You're acting like Romo is a bad QB. Not true this season. What I'm saying is that if Dez is so much better, he should have better numbers. Thomas' numbers were supposed to go down with all the other talent on the Broncos, but he seems to still have better stats than Dez.

Romo is a bad QB. This is a fact.

It's easier to get open when teams can't target their defense at you and you have another pro bowl receiver as your third weapon, and it's easier to catch passes from Manning than Romo.

Can't take you seriously after that statement. I understand that he hasn't won many big games, but he can light it up. He's not bad.

You know with the game on the line he will lose it. It's not like some guys where they're probably going to win but may drop a couple. Every chance he has, romo loses his team games.

I don't think so. He's won some games before. People just remember the games he's lost more. Anyway. I'm most a homer towards Thomas him being from GT lol. But you can't sit here and tell me that Dez is a lot better.

personally, I dont really know who is better. Dont really care either. I'm glad DT is a Bronco, and just as glad that dez is not.

You probably know him as Bebe as well...both him and Hill (NYJ) are athletic freaks from GT, just didn't come from a passing OFC in college.

To your point...nothing against Dez...I like him as a player...but I'll take Thomas...running crisper routes now, bigger than Dez, and just as fast if not faster.

Interesting topic to Broncos fans, since a lot of people questioned 'lil Josh taking Thomas over Bryant. Both are clearly stellar players on the field. Personally, I'm happy with Thomas. I remember the talented Brandon Marshall.

Bryant actually reminds me of a far less amusing Leon (from the Bud commercials).

I'm sure you are happy with Thomas...as a Steeler fan, I'd trade both our WRs for either one of those guys. Coming out Thomas was not nearly as polished a WR as Bryant, but athletically Thomas was off the charts.

Very, very true...you really wonder why they went to this run, run, run coach after Gailey left when you had studs like that on the outside.

Dez Bryant.

I don't really see the big deal about Thomas... both are lower tiers to CJ though

As just a pure player on the field honestly I would rather have Bryant. He to me is the better red zone threat of the two. When considering the whole package though with all of the off the field issues I would definitely take Thomas as they really are not that far apart for play on the field but the off the field stuff would just annoy me with Bryant.

I would probably echo this thought process as well.
