You say I revert to the past, and you talk about what Marinelli did on teams that had nothing to do with the Cowboys. Dick LeBeau has had bad years too. So did Wade Phillips, Rex Ryan, Bill Belichick, etc.. Does that make them any less of a defensive guru?

Not putting him in that company. Only pointed out that defensive gurus who have helped teams win championships or consistently put teams deep in the playoffs can have bad seasons. Why can't gurus of Marinelli's caliber have bad seasons?
