you're 2-0 so you're not that bad, but yea i agree Pats need to improve and like most i think they will as the season goes on, but you guys have a tough 4 weeks ahead.

really after two weeks and playing two rookie QB's. Sorry but i'm not impressed with the Pats so far this year, barely beating Buffalo and barely beating the Jets. Now NE has TB, ATL, CINCY and NO coming up. How many of those games do you guys honestly expect to win playing the ball the team has been playing? 1 maybe 2 is my guess. you'll still make the playoff because that divisions sucks balls, but don't get a big head after 2 weeks. Yes my Ravens sucked last week and if they continue to play like they did against Denver I'll say the same shit about them.

I don't expect the Patriots to keep playing ball this way. They get Gronk back probably this week. They'll get Amendola back in a few weeks, and Vereen back around week 12. The rookies will develop - not all of them, but some of them.

I expect the Pats to beat TB and the Bengals. Atlanta will be rough. New Orleans is a winnable game for them.

Ultimately, I'm not happy with the way the Pats are playing, but they should still cruise into the playoffs - playing the worst football they've played in years, they just beat two of three division rivals. You're right that the way they're playing right now is not good enough to be a serious playoff threat and that they aren't playing like an elite team. My concern is, given that they're going to be in the playoffs, that enough of their players develop by then that they can become a serious playoff threat.

This Defense is good. Elite is a stretch though. Not a Patriot homer either. Just calling it like I see it.

Offense needs Gronk. Rookies can contribute, but can not carry the team. Gronk and Edelman make a difficult tandem to defend because the compliment each other style wise.
