Like I said, I get it.
I take it you don't consider Kern County SoCal......
I've been living in Los Angeles for the last 10 years(originally from Taunton, MA). One of the cool things about living out here is on Sundays during football season you have an excuse to start drinking at 10 a.m.[/QUOTE
Agree watching football on the west coast is best. Either drinks or breakfast for the first game, lunch with the second game, dinner with the late game, in bed by 10 pm
Maybe, but I am second-guessing myself on San Diego.....You would have hated Augusta, Maine.
If the opportunity for me to take over a position in San Diego happens there would be nothing but a vapor trail.Maybe, but I am second-guessing myself on San Diego.....
I'd be perfectly content to never leave California the rest of my life. There's no place on earth like it.
Plus, the job is more interesting.Southie, just look at the disparity in the average home price between where you chose and San Diego - you'll snap out of it.
Plus, the job is more interesting.
It will be closer to my hometown, closer to the California Delta, Closer to the Sierras. Much cheaper to live.
Southie means born in South Boston.
Moved to California as a kid, call San Luis Obispo home.
Lived in NC for 15 years with wife and kids - hated it after wife passed. Still have a house there and 2 of my kids are there. I really enjoy leaving NC when I visit.
California will always be home.
LA is one of the large cities I could live in. Well, I don't know about "live" I'd die in the smog......You had it right the first time Yankee. LA is a hole.
Buckle up. I'm flying through Narita tomorrow 21 Aug to BKK. May be a bumpy ride?Looks like a Typhoon is scheduled to visit Okinawa (Kadena on the map) when I'm scheduled to fly.
