I use the Glidin Rap a lot too but nothing gets hit like those Red October tubes. ha

I don't go musky fishing, but for northerns I use a five diamonds spoon with a steel leader. They'll scratch the spoon up and bend a leader once in a while but you won't lose tackle or fish.

If they're not too deep my favorite is the rapala floater diver with a stop and go retrieve. I like to remove the front treble hook nearest the nose for fewer snags and line clips on cast.

And that spoon RA uses is a good one if I have to go deeper.

lol I take that one off too. Damn thing seemed to get caught almost every cast.

I've used and had success with many different lures but I always come back to the tubes because....well....they work the best around here. The cost was just getting ridiculous ya know?
