Most of them are probably from Texas, because that's where 90% of the population in Big12 is. Most of them are from Texas because of all the high school football there, because of the population. I mean, there is probably more people in the Greater Austin metroplex and surrounding area than in Nebraska. Or Kansas. It's not any big deal, just more population centers.

And yes, the Big12 refs suck. I would like to see a list of where they are all from. Probably, most of them are yanks who migrated to Texas... The high school refs are better.

Have you ever seen the video of Current Big 12 Head Referee, Greg Burks, doing the arm pump after Texas scored a touchdown?

Guess who was the head referee in the Texas Oklahoma game in 2013? Greg Burks plus he had his other Texas buddy, Gene Semko.

If I cared enough, I'd go back in time and find some Nebraska refs, who are Nebraska born, raised and live, and I'd find them in their off time, and video them watching the Huskers win some big game.


I'm sure there are some. But if you think a ref on national tv is going to make a call that favors the team he favors, then you must also believe that in the NFL the refs are run by the wise guys, and that it's all a sham.
