You can never have too many knives.
100% chance Tomas is first pitch hacking here. Only way he doesn't swing is if you throw it at his head. Even then, it's still a 50/50 chance he swings at that.
If we score here, can we bring in Ziegler in the 8th to pitch for a 2 inning for the save?
Ray- 2.29 ERA
Anderson- 4.37 ERA
Hellickson- 5.04 ERA
De La Rosa- 5.06 ERA
Corbin- 5.40 ERA
The team has one starter with a good ERA. No one else. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. This is what you get when you have an owner like Kendrick who refuses to open his pocketbook to sign good pitching. Instead the team signs Tomas for almost 70 million dollars while the pitching staff continues to rot. I hate the way this organization spends money in the wrong places. PAY FOR PITCHERS YOU IDIOTS. The team has has had one ace in a decade in Webb and no aces since then. One fluke year of Kennedy and that was it. Seriously I have no idea what the hell is this organization's problem. It is like they just do not care that the pitching is awful and they refuse to make any big trades or free agent signings for a true ace. And instead of trading a top young pitching prospect like Touissant as part of a package for an ace, THEY SALARY DUMPED HIM.
Give Ray time. He hasn't been here long. He'll get his ERA up there with the rest of the turds eventually.Sadly, I couldn't agree with you more.
