I want to agree with you, but going to have to wait to see the details and fine print of the contract. Three years isn’t really that long of a contract or that big a risk for the team. Teams that worry, can always buy insurance if they wish.

He should have held out.

Not because he deserves more money, but because I'm facing him in fantasy this week and think its only fair that my opponent's #1 RB should sit out since Bell is sitting out for me.

Interesting comparison. David Johnson seems like a solid person off the field, has shown up at all mandatory practices (I believe) and has less tread on the tires. He has shown that he can be one of the top dual threats out of the backfield. A guy who can be trusted....a solid team player. He showed up to his camp, and got paid.

Le'Veon Bell is a me-first, dumbass hip hopper who apparently doesn't give a shit about his teammates. He's a guy who can't be trusted by his fellow Steelers players given his multiple holdouts and multiple suspensions, and can't be trusted by the organization. He didn't get paid. He's a talent, but I think I read the Steelers were 11-4 without him in the lineup.

Translation: The Steelers should simply tell Bell to fuck off.

Fantastic move by the Cardinals !

Rookie QB will be starting sometime this season, ( Sorry Sam I know your MO) the division can still be won:

* Rams "dream team" could implode
* 49ers still to young with a lot of pressure on them to win now
* and Seattle, well we all know Petey boy ran off one of the best defenses cause they were mean to little Russell so they are pretty much done for a while

It is the guaranteed money that is the key. I was watching the NFL network when this was announced and I think he got a $24 million signing bonus.

Bell was gonna get 33 mil. for 2 years. (45 mil in 3 years)

Johnson gets 30 mil. guaranteed in 3 years.

Also wasnt good enough to bell. He wanted that yearly money for a longer term.
Bell is no victim.
He priced himself out.
