Congrats to Alabama.
I think this will mark the beginning of the end for Hoke.

Does Michigan have Civil Engineering as a major? If not he wasn't lying. That's what he's majoring in.

Alabama isn't a bad school, but they're not even on the same planet when it comes to academics compared to Michigan...
Neither is OSU for that matter...
The sad thing is that I think if we were even close to living up to expectations this year (IE: rushing for positive yards in all games) that he would have picked us.
Ah, from what I"m reading Hoke told Hand that majoring in engineering was a no go if he wanted to play football at Michigan...
Not sure how much truth there is to that... Do you guys have any engineering majors on your roster?

No, the backstory is that Hand fell in love with the professor of Michigan's sport's management program and said (at the time) he would only consider schools with that major.

I don't think so. The only thing we really had to offer is early playing time. Saban promised him stability, coaching, and an easier pass to Sundays.
...well....this doesn't seem very fair....
You should file a complaint of some sort...
This has to violate the NFL's salary cap, doesn't it?
Well, I guess we'll have to settle for just the #2 prospect....
